To encourage community support and increase Council funding from individuals, local businesses and community/civic organizations, the Beverly Newport Memorial Fund, a charitable foundation, is offering a challenge matching grant of up to $50,000 to the Literacy Council of Northern Virginia.
New or increased gifts received between July 1, 2007 and June 30, 2008 from individuals, local businesses and community/civic organizations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $50,000.
