The Wish You Well Foundation has been providing funding for the Literacy Council's four educational programs since 2006. As demand for LCNV's programs increased, the Wish You Well Foundation was there with a generous increase in support that helped the Literacy Council keep its programs available to all the adult students who rely on them.
"Imagine your daily life, the information you process, the decisions you make based on that process and the actions you take based upon your decisions" says Wish You Well Foundation Executive Director Natasha Collin. "Now imagine doing all of these things while either being unable to read or reading at a below-average level." The Wish You Well Foundation was created by bestselling novelist David Baldacci and his wife Michelle to help create a more literate Virginia. David Baldacci is a Virginia native, born in Richmond, and received his education at Virginia schools, earning a B.A. from Virginia Commonwealth University and a law degree from the University of Virginia.
