Reading: A Family Affair 2010 is just around the corner, and it's promising to be bigger and better than ever before. Now in its fourth year, the event will feature an expanded space and exciting new lineup of performers.
Renowned magician and entertainer the Great Zucchini will perform his popular comedy-magic show. Grammy award winning musicians Cathy and Marcy will delight us with their interactive songs, and Jeanne Wall's whimsical puppets in "Going Buggy" will bring to life folk tales about insects from around the world. Plus there are storytellers, Glenna Ohlms and Margaret Chatham, the Rainbow Entertainment Co., and the students of H-B Woodlawn Theatre. And that's not all—five different children's book authors will be reading from their works and signing their books for fans. And fan favorite WETA's Clifford the Big Red Dog will be on site to meet the children and pose for photographs.
So mark your calendars and plan to enjoy a great day of family fun. The event is free, but those wanting to donate are encouraged to do so at any of the secure donation jars throughout the venue.
