There is a great deal of free material on the Internet that LCNV tutors and/or students may find useful. Here are some reputable sites, some of which include interactive on-line activities for practicing English language skills. Those of you who tutor in libraries may wish to use the public computers to integrate some of these activities into your lessons. They also can provide excellent homework for students who have access to computers at home.
The site addresses were valid as of May 2007. Please let us know if any of these links no longer work or if you have discovered additional sites that would be useful to add to the list.
