In the case of inclement weather, please call the Literacy Council at (703) 237-0866 to find out if the office has a delayed opening or has been closed. The Executive Director and designated staff members will make a decision by 8:00 a.m. in the event of questionable driving conditions and will leave the announcement on the Literacy Council outgoing message.
If the office is closed on a day that you are scheduled to attend a workshop, it will be postponed to a future date. Please DO NOT attempt to attend a workshop on a day that the office has been CLOSED. If the office remains open during inclement weather, and you are unable to travel, please give us a call. Missed workshops can always be made up at a later date.
